Ingredients: Unrefined sea salt, paprika, onion, garlic, cayenne, black pepper
Perfect Prime Rib
8 lb Rib Roast, bone-in
¼ cup Extra Virgin Olive Oil
1/3 cup s.a.l.t. sisters Blackening Cajun Rub & Seasoning
Preheat over to 500°. Rub the roast with EVOO and fully coat with the Blackening Cajun Rub. The rub should create an even crust over the beef. Place roast on the bottom rack of the oven; roast uncovered for 45 minutes. Reduce the heat to 325°, cover with foil and cook for an additional 25 minutes. For medium rare, internal temperature should be approx. 125°. Remove from oven and let rest for 15 minutes. Slice and serve.
