Safety cover with a built-in ceramic ball sharpener; official page lists it sharpening and honing the blade when the case is opened or closed. Handle for left- or right-hand use, with drainage channels. Potato-eye and blemish remover in the handle tip. Dishwasher-safe; official care is to put it in vertically with the cover partly pulled down, and to keep the cover pulled up when it is not in use. BPA-free; FDA and LFGB-approved materials.
