The Provoke X is a folding pocket axe. The head is SUJ2 with a titanium nitride coat, an axe bit on one side and a spike on the other. The spike is there to penetrate, puncture, or wedge. The handle is stainless steel with glass-reinforced overlays and a ring for grip.

Kinematic opens it with a flick of the wrist. Deadbolt locks the head open. Close it and the blade and spike slide into recesses in the handle, and the ambidextrous safety sets itself. Release the safety from either side, either hand.

SUJ2 is a high-carbon chromium bearing steel, used here for impact resistance. Adjustable clip, left or right. 8.69" open or closed, 13.20 ounces. Designed by Joe Caswell.
