This Byrd Cara Cara 2 is a full-size everyday folder with a stainless handle that takes engraving well and a long ComboEdge blade for mixed cutting. The full-flat grind keeps the edge thin for clean slices, and the partially serrated ComboEdge helps on rope, cardboard, and tough materials.

A comet-shaped hole opens the blade with either hand. Jimping on the spine and a finger choil give more control when you choke up. The mid-position back lock includes a Boye dent so you can squeeze the handle hard without pressing the lock off by accident. A four-way pocket clip supports tip-up or tip-down carry on either side.
